La Villa Clarisse

Inaugurated in June 2011 after a meticulous renovation, this mansion from the 18th century is dedicated to the pure well-being and relaxation while preserving the soul of the typical old houses in the island. Ferdinand Auguste Lapasset, great figure of the French Army, awarded with the Legion of Honor, was born in this family house in July 1817.

Villa Clarisse was inaugurated by Olivia Le Calvez in June 2011. This listed 18th century mansion is a former cloister but also the birthplace of General Lapasset. Decorated by Olivia Calvez and the architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, the Villa Clarisse is respectful of the soul of the Ile de Ré and evokes a pure, luminous universe where white dominates. It creates a style that subtly mixes contemporary with regional touches.
